Xbox Security.


Normally when i turn on my xbox console i am automatically logged in, a couple of days ago when trying to log in it came up saying i needed to enter my email and password, and i get a error message saying either the email and password is incorrect (even though i know it is correct) or please try again later.

My account works on to log in and also on my brothers console, but not on mine.

Please help?

It sounds like there might be something with your profile or cache on your xbox.

I suggest first just try clearing your cache three times in a row and then re-downloading your profile.


If that doesn't work. Move your profile to a removable storage.

Then clear your cache three times in a row.

Restart console.

Go into network settings and check LIVE connectivity.

Then download profile.


Here is info on downloading / moving your profile:


Clear the system cache

1.Press the Guide button on your controller.

2.Go to settings and select System Settings.

3.Select Storage or Memory.

4.Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller. (It doesn't matter which storage device you select; the cache will be cleared for all storage devices.)

5.Select Clear System Cache.

6.When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes.


If this doesn't help. Please post back with any errorcode you might be presented with.
