Xbox pop up porn problem

I had an issue of **** popping up on my home screen right after start up and my 6 year old saw it. When I called Microsoft they said they never heard of he problem and were very sorry, luckily we we right there to turn it off but it upset me a lot. I had recently downloaded the explorer app an soon after deleted it haven't had a problem since. I would remove explorer app if you have it.

Are you using WiFi that isnt secure?

The other day I was helping my cousin out since he was having problems with a replacement router. Thats when I saw this feature on the wireless settings (I believe it was under the smartglass option) that would allow instant stream from outside device, onto your xbox.

I remember seeing a few post about people randomly seeing some hardcore footage on their consoles...so I thought this could be the reason.

You should check and see if this setting is set to on or off. Just browse the wireless section part of the settings and read the descriptions for the options.
Also add a password or change your existing WiFi password...and dont share it with others.

I wish I knew the exact name of the option. I'll post again when I get to my 360 so I can tell you the name...if you havent already found it.
