Hi all,
I too had some networking issues; which are thankfully resolved, where the One couldn't connect to my Billion 7800VDOX.
In short, I'm using both 2.4 & 5Ghz frequencies named as "wlan_24" & "wlan_5" respectively. Both use WPA2, AES and have the SSID hidden. My first grievance was that at the initial setup, nowhere does it list the MAC address of the interfaces. This is also
not listed on the packaging or the console unit; which makes it difficult for those using a MAC filter on their modem/routers (like me).
So, anyway; after disabling the MAC filter on my 5Ghz network and going through the manual setup with all the correct settings, I was unable to get connection. After trying a number combinations, I tried the 2.4Ghz network (again, after disabling the MAC
filter and manual setup), which worked immediately.
Only after the first system update could I connect using 5Ghz network. Needless to say, I also checked the MAC, put this into my filter and re-enabled it.
I'm not sure if others are having similar troubles with 5Ghz frequencies, but this may suggest some software/driver issues with the XBO 5Ghz networking adapter or ongoing development of thier networking packages.
