Xbox One Not Updating

I have been in the Preview Program for a couple of months now and am used to new Updates semi-regularly. I signed up for the new xbox one experience ~2 weeks ago and my xbox has not updated since Sept. 7th. It says it checked for an update this morning (10/1/15) @2:32. Is there a problem or is this to be expected? Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

Not everyone is being put into the New Xbox One experience this early. They are sending the update out in waves. You'll generally need to wait until you are sent the update over the next several weeks.

In the future, please make sure you post all preview related posts in the private preview program forums area.

I am trying to hook up a new xbox one and it is having problems with the update so I can't even get to the menu screen yet, do anyone know how long this will last?

Xbox Live is currently experiencing technical difficulties. This is probably why you can't update.

Just keep an eye on www.xbox.com/status
