XBOX One loses or drops all connectivity yet still thinks connected

So its been happening now more often than before, I thought it was Destiny just jacking up the console but it appears to happen no matter what as I've seen it happen in other games, while streaming HBOGO, you name it..  I have the Day One edition XB1, since the beginning...

For some reason from time to time, 4 times last night!, the XB1 will just lose all network connectivity, typically manifesting itself by saying Not signed in to Xbox Live.

The XB1 sees my wireless network, settings shows connected with good bars, Open NAT, yet cannot pull any data off the Internet (friends wont show, IE cant connect, Store wont pull up content, etc).  The rest of my house is working fine as other devices still can get on Internet.

The only way to get the XB1 back online is to pull the power on it and plug it back in.

XB1 Support, I've read several other articles like this, but the resolution seems to be sending it in for replacement, bad memory, or wifi...   let me know how to proceed, this is annoying.

Well so much for that.. did a reset.. took a while,. Got the updates it needed, probably an hour or so..  then 5 minutes into streaming, POOF, same loss of all network connectivity.   what a bummer, I had high hopes.

So now what, send it back in?  how long is a typical turnaround?  hate to be without it for too long!

Post up the make and model of your router and your modem as well (if this is not a single device).

Can you verify if you're experiencing the same symptoms with a wired solution with your console.

Do you connect more than one Xbox to your router?

WiFi rtr Cisco EA4500 connected via 5ghz "A".  TW business class, not sure of the actual modem model..  the only Xbox on it..  when the xb1 disconnects, other devices are still ok.. not like I lose connectivity for everything, just the XB1.  Haven't done wired..  wouldn't matter I can't run wired anyway, too far from my router.

Before we continue, please try and find out the model number of your modem, so we can rule out this device as the culprit.

Ok thanks... I will look but I find the modem hard to be a suspect as the xb1 is not directly connected to it and other devices in the house are not affected when the xb1 goes belly up.
