Xbox One Kinect no longer works and my games either freeze or no sound after update

Everything was working perfectly fine yesterday. This is outrageous just when the Titanfall beta started.

Kinect works fine at start up, recognizes me and signs me in then all of a sudden it resets itself and no longer works then keeps resetting itself every 5 minutes.

Dead Rising freezes when I start campaign

CoD Ghosts no sound, freeze when I start a match

Killer Instinct no sound, freeze when I start a match

Titanfall Beta no sound, matches do start

And every other demo freezes as well.

I am having the same issues. Problem started immediately after update finished. I am going to see if it fixes itself tomorrow.

Ditto on that, everything worked fine before update and now it only turns on then it doesn't work. They need to fix this soon

I am having the exact same issues! Battlefield 4 crashes after opening video, Titanfall Beta plays but has no sound, Fifa 14 plays but has no sound, Assassins Creed worked fine weirdly enough, Dead rising crashes during career mode. Kinect has completely died, no sound/keeps refreshing. I'm glad other people have the same problems, i was worried my xbox was fried. Hopefully this gets sorted ASAP!

I had the same issue but with the kinect and no sound on titanfall beta. Got it resolved heres what I did hope it works for you guys.

I went to the kinect settings turned off the kinect then power down the console. After that I unplugged the xbox one from the power source to completely dump the memory or what not. Plugged it back in turned on the xbox and you should see the xbox green screen with the same xbox start up sound as the 360 had. Loaded titanfall beta and had sound and everything. Happy gaming!

Unplug the console from the mains and replug mains back in and restart console.. everything should be back to normal. So far so good, Titanfall has sound, Fifa doesn't crash and plays fine, Battlefield has survived the starting video and is now playing also. Kinect also works fine.

Everyone try this, worked fine after I did it.

Hold the power button on front of console (Xbox logo) for 10 secs. Unplug power cable then Kinect cable.

Plug in power cable only and power up your XB1.

Once it's powered on go to settings, Kinect. Your XB1 will tell you to plug in Kinect and Voila it's fixed

I had issues attempting to turn on and off my xbox since the update by voice commands. It acts like it doesn't recognize "on", "yes", and "no". I been using the controller to turn it off.

Will try this fix later on today, hopefully it works.
