Xbox One game audio to headphones

My X1 is attached to my PC monitor but there is no headphone socket for when I play at night. Is there anyway to output the X1 game sound to a standard set of headphones? Was able to do it on my 360 but nothing obvious on the X1 other than buying some kind of digital to analogue converter. Cheers.

Hi. My PC, 360 and X1 all go into a Sony HT-FS3 via HDMI which produces the sound and passes the video feed via HDMI to my monitor.  There is no headphone jack on the HT-FS3 or audio out other than via HDMI. To get my 360 to my headphones I used an audio adapter cable as well as an HDMI cable but there's no port for that on the X1. Thanks.

I see, sounds like you would need to look at a DAC with phones output. See if this would be any use to you - www.maplin.co.uk/.../digital-to-analogue-audio-convertor-a14kf

That type of solution was the best I could come up with as well after doing a bit of research. Was hoping I was missing something obvious! Will probably look for one a bit cheaper though! Thanks for your replies.
