xbox one elite controller battery cover

I had taken my elite controller over to my cousins to play some games when I came home the battery cover for it was gone I called him and he said he can't find it.  Is there any way to get a new one or am I SOL on the situation I tried to find one on amazon and ebay with nothing being there.

That link takes me to the Xbox One replacement and service center NOWHERE does it have ANY options for controller parts order. I just need a freaking battery door for my Elite controller and the stupid rear grips that are garbage and fall apart after a month.

Hi,

Go to https://account.microsoft.com/devices/ , register your Xbox one if still not yet done.

Follow "launch a repair" into details of your Xbox one , follow controller not working ( accessories of your console ) , put your controller serial number as required, then check if there is the battery cover. If not you have to call Xbox live helpdesk > https://support.xbox.com/contact-us

A quick search on amazon (uk) I found a black and a white battery cover but they are currently unavailable, im not sure why it could be because tbe new elite is on the horizon or they simply ran out of stock. But it shows they have been available. I would advise looking on ebay as someone maybe selling spares from broken controllers. 
The gaming world isn't filled only with violence and depravity. In fact, it's mostly enchanting and fun.

An upvote is always welcomed, but knowing I may have helped someone is priceless.
