Xbox one controller sync

Hi, so a few days ago my controller  started doing this thing where it was turned on but couldn't sync to the xbox. I originally thought it was the controller but today I tried it on my brothers console and it worked fine and his did not work on my system. So this leads me to believe the problem is in the system. So I was wondering if other people had this problem and/or if there is something I can do or if I have to get it replaced or whatever. If you have something to say I appreciate it, if not just go ahead and ignore me, either way works.

Are other controllers able to connect to your system or is it just your control that will not?

No my brother's controller didn't work either. It actually just went back to his system even when I plugged it in with the cord.

I would suggest doing a repair request on your controller. Make sure your console is registered first, everything can be done from the my service hub. Link
