All I know is the Kinect sensor knows who is holding what controller at all times. If you were to drop your controllers and come back and play later, Kinect would automatically switch the profiles if you were to pick up a different controller. And I've also
heard Xbox One can have up to 8 controllers connected at once.
So 4 players and the Kinect can tell who's holding what controller? I wonder what happens in instances when a player steps out to the bathroom or something and has someone play a round for them like in a board or family type game?
