Xbox one controller menu buttons not working

So About a month and a half ago I bought one of the pink pig minecraft controllers. It worked great for a while but then the right analog stick started to "stick". After doing some research i decided to take it apart to see if there was debris or dirt messing with the sticks movement. I took the controller apart found a piece of plastic that had cracked in the way and got rid of it. Now after putting the controller back together everything works except for the menu buttons on either side of the power/home button. Took it and another controller I had apart to compare to see if something was missing or disconnected but it all looks to be together. I tried rebooting and updated the controller and nothing's working. Any help?
Hi, if you hold on the Home button for while time the Xbox show for you the Screen with Shutdown/Restart and report options for you. If the answer will be yes, try make a factore reset keep your games, and see if Works

I should also mention that the other controller I took apart works fine.

You should have tried to do a warranty claim first. Unfortunately, since you opened it, you've voided the warranty

For the button not working, perhaps you damaged a ribbon(if it connects with a ribbon) or perhaps it came loose?
