Can you verify if you power supply is plug into a surge protector (incorrect) or directly into the wall outlet (correct)? How's your console set up?
Is it sitting on a hard surface and the top and sides are not blocked (even by an inch or so)?
Are you able to swap power supplies with a friend to check this issue out? If it doesn't happen with his power supply, it may be yours. Normally you will see no flight or flashing orange light is the power supply is normally having an issue. If this is the
case then you might need to do a repair on your power supply.
I'm assuming you are actively playing the console when the power off happens but if not, verify under your Settings>Power & Startup that Don't Turn Off Automatically is checked at least for now while we are testing.
If none of the above seem to be the problem, the console might need to be serviced. You would need to register your product(s) at
myservice.xbox.com to start the process. Let us know what you find out troubleshooting/checking the items above. Thanks,
Did this solve your problem?
