Hi! Can you clarify a bit please? Specifically, where are you trying to stream these files from? Are you just trying to play them, move them, etc. Where did you purchase this content? Thanks. :)

I'm running into this error as well. I put video files (.avi files mostly, I use VLC media player but I have tried .Mp4 files) onto a 16 gigabyte Verbatim USB stick and plug it into my 360, which as far as I am aware is completely up to date software wise (Its always hooked to the internet), but when I try to play the video files...zipsky. nada. the thing is, it USED to work a year or so ago; I could dump stuff onto a flash drive, plug it in, and watch it over my TV that way. Now, although my Xbox SEES the USB stick, it persists in saying that  "No videos Found" on the USB drive, despite the fact that there ARE videos on the USB stick, and quite a few of them.

In short, why is it suddenly not possible to watch videos on a USB stick on our Xbox's anymore?

The main reason that media would not be playable or not even show up at all would be because it would be in a format that the Xbox 360 does not recognize. To ensure that your media codecs are compatible, have a look at this FAQ about media and the Xbox 360: support.microsoft.com/.../945416

Connect your XBOX to Live and then play the file again, it should give you the option to update your console, which should enable you to play video and audio files

I am having the same problems. I am trying to play a .mp4 file which is a supported format for xbox and it has an error. I have installed the optional content update and am always connected to live so I am up to date and still nothing. What else can I do to solve this problem?

Do you have the USB stick formatted as NTFS by any chance?

-

The 360 will only read drives that are FAT32 or HFS+ for media purposes (when plugged into one of the console's USB ports).
