Xbox live Rewards not registering gold membership

Recently purchased a 12 month Xbox live card and used it to renew my live. But the issue is that my Rewards site does not recognise me as being a gold member and I can’t access the VIP section because of this. I cleared my cache 3 times and re-downloaded my profile, but that has not helped. I was referred by technical support Via chat to post on here for help.

Would appreciate any help in this matter! Thanks.
