Xbox live renewal question

My Xbox live service was supposed to be renewed on June 22nd, but my bank account has not yet been hit with the 60$ payment yet.  It is set up for automatic renewal but I am wondering what is taking so long for it to do so?  I know it says automatic but do i still have to go in and purchase it anyway?

Any help with my question will be most appreciated.

You don't need to repurchase it. Sometimes the billing date and renewal date are not the same day. You can always check your account at billing.microsoft.com to make sure there aren't any issues too.

Oh ok.  Thanks for your answer.  Then do you have any idea of where I can find the billing date?  Or can't  you see that?

If you call xbox support, they can tell you the billing date.

As a precaution if you're looking to cancel or refund the service, be sure to contact them *before* the charge shows up on your bank account. The actual charge can take 30 days from what they say the billing date is to go through which by that point is too late.
