xbox live refund?

basically, i purchased a years gold membership a year ago, and thought id already changed auto renewal off seeing as how id rung customer services already to change it.

but today i was billed the full £39.99 for a years subscription, i dont play my xbox anymore and was told by a member of staff that they had cancelled the auto renewal on my account, so i assumed all would be well !

my question is ! can i get a refund seeing as how this isnt my fault? who would i need to talk to, would it be worth ringing customer services again and explaining the situation?

For billing issues I recommend you contact your local Xbox Live Phone Support.  For the US it is 1-800-4MY-XBOX.
