Xbox live Profile not downloading.

I have been trying to download my Xbox live profile for a couple of days now, it is only a new profile but have been reading the forums, and have tried everything I can see, I have also tried all the support steps possible for me to do. However this still isn't working, and every time I check network connection, it says all fine except for the Matchmaking service Alert, and the error code 8007274D. This is so frustrating.

It worked, sort of for a little while, and now it proceeds to to tell me that some Xbox Live content is temporarily unavailable. Still with the error code 8007274D.

Could you detailing out which troubleshooting steps you've tried.

Appreciate if you could post up the make and model of your router and your modem as well (if this is not a single device).

Is your console directly connected to the router. If so, is it connected wireless, or wired with with the router?

Can you restore Xbox network settings to factory defaults. Afterwards, run a diagnostic test to LIVE (Test Xbox LIVE Connection), to make sure your console have a solid connection to LIVE.

I've tried them all except for the ones that involve resetting the modem, I can't do that as I'm living on campus at my university. :)

My xbox is wired to my laptop which is acting as my router, because i need a login and password to access my internet, and Xbox doesn't do that.

Have you tried to redo ICS on your computer.

An additional method is to create a network bridge connection, instead of ICS, to see if you are able to download your profile properly. Here's how!
