Xbox live profile keeps corrupting

This has been on going for a few moths now, basically my xbox live profile keeps corrupting, not any game saves or dlc, just the profile itself, it clears my avatar, gmaerscore and theme to look like im not signed in, it always makes everything really laggy, i have cleared the HDD and reformatted it a number of times, yet it persists, so does this reinforce my thinking thatits xboxs problems and not mine?

If anyone has any ideas or can actually get an answer out of xbox themselves please help! <3

Xbox are turning into absolute ****...

Have you tried using a different storage device, either HDD or USB, instead of your current HDD?

Try another storage device, your hard drive might be coming up with bad read/write errors.

Hi,

I was just wondering if you'd had any joy with this? I'm having the same problem. After getting BF3 it seems to have become even worse, every time I use the 'return to dashboard' option it wipes my profile and says it's corrupted - I upgraded to one of the newer slim 360s thinking it would remove my 'rrod' worries... doesn't really seem to have worked out very well.

I don't have another HDD to try on my 360 either

Update - if anyone is still having this problem, I used the Microsoft online chat help thingy and the guy I spoke with suggested deleting the corrupted profile (profile only) and then recover the gamertag - It appears to have worked! :D

I only had to delete and restore it the once and its been fine since (although I had to format the whole HDD recently due to another issue).

If you're really stuck with it id try the online chat option on the support page
