Xbox Live parent account separation.

For certain activities primarily updates and changes to the terms and service agreements I require to enter information for my fathers account. My account is set to an adult under my settings and looking through his settings we have not been able to stop this. Is there any way to COMPLETELY remove the association the two accounts have with each other. We did not have this problem before signing up for the family xbox live bundle and from my understanding even that has ended.

I already did that but it still requires the approval from his account when they update the terms and use agreement and occasionally other random acts.

Hey there xukaze!

If you're saying that you've already promoted the account to an adult account, it sounds like either the process was not completed properly or the age on the account in question is not the legal adult age just yet.

If you've positive that the age on the account is the legal adult age, I suggest trying to promote the account again (you can use the guide that Smwutches linked).

If it doesn't work for you, I suggest using the Contact us page to set up a support call with an account specialist. They'll be able to look into your account with you and see if the process completed properly.

Let us know how everything goes. ^_^
