Xbox Live Not Connecting After Changing Payment Option

So a little while back Microsoft try'ed to charge a Credit Card i no longer used. I didn't remove it so it said i couldn't connect to Xbox live until i either removed it or changed the payment option. I couldn't remove it so yesterday i added a new Credit Card on the account. It said " Your payment option is updated and that the credit card would be used to automatically renew my membership and that after my payment goes through my membership will be reactivated and that it will take awhile". Come today and i still cant connect to live and still cant remove the old credit card can someone please help me in this situation i would just really like to play my Xbox online and i know the Credit Card i used yesterday has money on it.
