xbox live memebership

i bought a 12month xbox live membership for the wrong account...my son is having a fit!!! please help how can i resolve this???? and if so why can all the profiles use the membership?

Sorry, but unfortunately you can't transfer memberships between accounts or share a membership.

Also make sure the auto renewal hasn't been switched on or in 12 months you will be billed if your credit/debit card details are still valid and on the account. If you used a pre-paid card though then it shouldn't have been turned on.
