Xbox live issue

I can't seem to sign to xbox live. I erased my account and tried to add new but instead I get a message " check your home network". Me thinking it would solve this by erasing my account and by resetting my router and modem, the problem still persists.

Microsoft is aware of the issue with people trying to sign into Xbox LIVE on the Xbox One, please watch this page support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status for any updates.
