Xbox LIVE Hacker froze my Xbox while playing a game.

Hi, 2 days ago a hacker going by the name [Mod Removed] was playing in my session. after i had fought him on GTA 5 he had started inviting me to a  party, at that point i had invited him, no less than seconds later he was threatening me and then he had frozen both me and a friends Xbox. mine is still glitching and freezing trying to play games. please investigate the issue and if at all possible ban the players IP and/ or xbox. Ive had a previous experience similar and had lost the Xbox completely due to the current time hacker. i will be checking this post early afternoon pacific time.

you will need to report the gamer who did this, so that the Enforcement team will get a report and investigate this. See this link on how to report a gamer: enforcement.xbox.com/.../HowTo

Also be aware that it isn't allowed to name and shame.

As far as I know it can't lead to any damage to the console it self, you may want to try to clear the cache to clear some temporary files that may be damaged and also check the storage section for corrupted files.

Hi WPAK, thanks for informing me on the policy, i was told by a support agent to submit the information here in hopes of getting noticed by someone of the Enforcement team. as far as i know, hacking the 360 can lead to severe damage from previous experiences, Ive had a previous system fry its motherboard and graphics card due to someone tampering with my system by means of sending harmful packet files directed towards my system.  ive tried all of the steps recommended, including clearing my cache, and it still freezes constantly, that freezing started to happen after he tampered with my system.

as far as reporting him, that really doesn't do much, Ive submitted so many reports against hackers and they are still on Live running free w out punishment.

Reporting via the tools on the console is the only way to reach out to the Enforcement team.

Something else to try is to remove and redownload your profile, to see if that helps support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

if you are still encountering issues with the console try to see if removing the hard drive makes any difference: support.xbox.com/.../add-remove-hard-drive

if that also fails you will likely need to contact xbox support if they have any other things to try or that they may advice a repair (via http://myservice.xbox.com)

As stated by WPAK, the best option to bring attention to players suspected of foul play is to report the via the Xbox 360 console report option.

Additionally, you may also clear your systems cache (which may take up to 3 tries to be successful) to alleviate the problem.

If it persists for the specific game you're playing, try to play another title and let me know if it affects that game as well.

Hi WPAK and K1ng, Ive already reported him via console and also have already tryed to clear my cache more than 3 times on each save device and it still freezes constantly, also my hard drive cannot be removed from my console. it freezes no matter what i do, even if its just being on the dashboard
