Xbox Live Gold won't activate. Please help.

Earlier today I renewed my Xbox Live, on the console, not the website, and I did the 1 month, but it won't make my account Gold again. I did this around 4:00 PM in the afternoon (May 14th 2014) Why isn't it activating? Should it be taking this long, or should I try it again? Maybe this time on the computer? Please help.

Check http://commerce.microsoft.com to see if it shows anything in your subscriptions or transactions.

If you used prepaid card, try the card again. If you purchased it directly from Xbox, the billing site will show if the transaction went through. If it didn't go through you may need to try purchasing it again.

If you can't use the card again, or you were billed, you would need to contact support directly 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or support.xbox.com/contact-us
