xbox live gold setup

How do I get gold to work. I've tried 7 different credit cards and it always comes back, please try again later. All day. This is starting to get very annoying.

The cards you're using, are they verified by VISA and does your bank allow you to have online subscription plans attatched to them?

 

Have you tried clearing the update cache on your xbox 360? Sometimes refreshing the marketplace and LIVE data can help to resolve purchase and download issues. If you need help follow these steps:

 

  1. Navigate to the "My xbox" slide on your dashboard.
  2. Scroll right, to the last page which is the "System Settings" page.
  3. Select "Memory".
  4. Highlight the memory unit and hit Y on your controller.
  5. Select the option to clear the update cache.

 

Once this is complete sign out and back into xbox LIVE, then attempt to re-purchase an xbox LIVE Gold subscription.
