xbox live gold problem

hey, bit of a problem, signed in to my xbox live account through my laptop to upgrade my xbox live membership. i used my live account to sign in and paid for the upgrade. then after paying realised i should have signed into my xbox live account using my yahoo email address. so i've now paid for a month's gold subscription for nothing. is there any chance i can transfer onto my original account?

You would need to call support. Since you've just paid for it, they should be able to cancel it and give you a code to redeem on the correct account.
