Xbox Live Gold Problem

Hello, I have come online on XBOX today to find out my Xbox Live Gold has run out, I didn't expect it to run out this soon, but apparently it has..

So, I thought "I'll just temporarily renew it with one of my 2 day live gold memberships" So I did that, and when I typed in the code and selected confirm it said "I already have membership, and should give the code to a friend" When I don't as I can't join parties and more features which only gold members can do.. Please, help as it's really starting to bug me.

Your showing as gold here. You may want to try checking your subscription at http://commerce.microsoft.com to make sure it's supposed to be expired. If there is an issue, you will need to contact support directly so they can help get the subscription sorted. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or support.xbox.com/contact-us
