Xbox Live Gold not working

I just redeemed a code for 3 month Xbox Live Gold membership.

I just made a screen proving that my profile says that I'm Gold member now


But when I turned my xbox on it still says that my profile is only "Xbox Live Free" and I can not play games online.

What did I do wrong?

There's a delay when you add gold on the website vs. on the console. To speed up the process try either testing your connection or recovering your account.
