Xbox live Gold Membership

I have just signed up for 1 months free trial, it also shows on my account as renewing on the  19.02.2013, but still unable to watch sky, i have even tried a 48hr redemptions code (but ongoing issues with Google Chrome Browsers and Xbox) 

Any advice?

I have signed out and in again, turned console off an on again etc

hi, its signs me in, and shows my friends online etc, it just seems to be anything I need xbox live, like sky etc, message says I need Gold Membership.

If you had added the gold via the website it does take a while for the console to recognize it. Did you try testing your connection? That should speed up the process and you shouldn't have any issues afterwards.
