XBOX Live drops connection during Netflix

I have been having an issue using Netflix on my XBOX.  It will constantly boot me from Netflix and bring up a screen that says "You must be an XBOX LIve Gold Member" even though I am.  I then have to log back in to continue watching.

My XBOX is hard wired to my router.  I have 14gb Down and 3GB Up for my Internet.

I know it is an issue with the XBOX as I can watch Netflix fine on both my PS3 and my PC.

The only time in my experience that this issue would happen is if your internet service is dropping, then reconnecting within a few seconds. This can actually affect something streaming through your console, like Netflix. If you have another wireless device, you should see if the connection drops there, too. If that's the case, you need to contact your Internet Service Provider and ask them why your internet keeps going in-and-out.

I would also agree with fazreznor. Try deleting Netflix app, then reinstalling it. Might work, too, just in case it's not an internet problem.

Greetings Loigan!

Appreciate if you could post up the make and model of your modem and router.

Make sure UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) is enabled on your router. Save your settings and reboot the router.

If you do not have a modem with built-in router, try connect your Xbox directly to your modem to see if bypassing the router helps.

Thanks!

Are you using a wireless or wired connection? If you're using a wireless connection could you try connect with an Ethernet cable to see if it helps.

Since this router do not have UPnP as an option, you may concider DMZ as the alternative.

Assign your Xbox a static IP address within the IP pool range of your router. Access your router and configure DMZplus mode as follows: http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_forums/xbox_support/networking-hardware/01-modems-gateways/2wire/f/3035/t/361076.aspx

Post back and let us know how it goes.
