Xbox live disconnects when starting games

I have a wired connection. When I start my xbobx it automatically connects to live, but when I go to play a game (MW3) it disconnects me and won't allow me to sign in. When I test the connection everything shays it is fine. When I go to more information this is what is shown on the report. w: 0000-000B X: 0200-F001 Y: 20A8-48E0 Z: 0000-0000 ID: FFFF-FFFF L: 8015-1904 Q: 8015-100C T: wired A: 96.31.108.7/255.255.255.0 G:96.31.108.1 D:72.21.65.13/72.21.65.14 I read in an earlier forum that I show re-download my profile. When I try to do that I get an error message saying that I have no connection, sometimes it let's me get to the downoad point but gives me an error saying profiles can't be downloaded. Again I run the test after this and everything says it's fine. I restart my machine and it let's me connectect again until I try to play a game or do something in it. Please help.

Sorry to here about that. Now to fix it:

1. Clear your Xbox 360 system cache YOU MUST DO THIS STEP OR IT WILL NOT WORK

2. Delete your profile

3. Download your profile

If it still says "profiles can't be downloaded" Xbox Live MAY have seized you profile because it is to corrupt.

This error occurs when there is a strong magnetic force around the Xbox.

Hello

I would suggest you to try out this fix:

1) Goto System Settings.

2) Select Storage.

3) On your Primary Storage Device Press the 'Y' Button.

4) Select 'Clear System Cache'

5) Wait for it to Clear...

6) Now attempt to Sign in.

7) You should stay signed in.

Here is one More Possible Fix:

1) Goto System Settings and Select 'Storage'.

2) Click the Storage device that Contains your Profile.

3) Goto your profile and press 'A'.

4) Click Delete Profile. It Will then ask 'Delete Profile Only' or 'Profile and Items'.

5) Select 'Delete Profile Only'

6) Once deleted press the Xbox Guide Button(Middle of Controller/ Big Green X)

7) Make sure you are signed out of all profiles and click 'Download Profile'

8) Enter all your Windows Live Credentials when It asks you too.

9) Wait for it to download

10) Once Downloaded you should be able to Sign-in to XBOX LIVE.

try this solution to get the network settigns back to its default state:

1)Turn off your Xbox 360 console.

2)Wireless connection only: Unplug the Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter from the USB port (if applicable).

3)Turn on your console.

4)Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and then select System Settings.

5)Select Network Settings.

6)Select Wired Network or the name of your wireless network, if you are prompted to do so.

7)Select Configure Network.
