Xbox live disconnection

When I get on xbox, I will play for a few hours (maybe like 4-5) then randomly be disconnected from xbox live. I then try to sign back in and have no problem. After I sign in unfortunely, I get disconected within 10 minutes each time I sign back in. This happens daily. Testing connetion is no problem as I always have connection to xbox live.

Power-cycle your router/modem (unplug from the wall for 30+ seconds)... delete and redownload your profile, clearing your system cache 2 times before redownload... are you connected wirelessly? What kind of connection? Does it only happen in games, or even on dashboard? You say you always have connection to live, but what about running the test anyway to see if there is a performance notification (NAT/MTU, etc)... let us know

Did you contact your ISP about this? It could be something about either bandwidth issues you are receiving or even restrictions on the length for high end usage, are you using Cable? If you've got a cable hog on your end it will cause disconnection problems, that's one of the issues with cable, if you're on the end of the block then the person before you can steal all the bandwidth, so check with your ISP as well.

I am on wireless connection. I have a wireless router that I got from comcast. There was no laggy connection from when I started xbox in march 2011. It just started out of nowhere around end of april/early may.

What Country/State/Province do you live in? United States, Maryland

Modem brand & model number: Arris - TM402P/110

Router brand & model number: Netgear - on the back of my router theres a few numbers such as sercurity pin, serial, mac, FCC ID, IC. I don't know if they are the model # or not.

If Wireless, are you using a white or black external adapter, or an internal (Xbox 360S) adapter? I have a wireless router.

Things you have tried: moving antenna on router, unplugging power cord from router for 2 mins.

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown - Unknown

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT? I don't know what that is.

Any Error Codes you encounter: Disconnected from xbox live.

Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)? Comcast

After you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" press “Y” for "More Info”. In the pop-up that appears, what are the following values, if shown? (If a value below does not appear for you, just leave it blank.)

I see... I don't know why either. I assume that the test indicates that your NAT is open?
