Xbox live connection works intermintently

I have read the various post and done the basic trouble shooting... But there has to be an answer out there... I get no error message and it will work great one time and then cut out every minute or two the next. It does not follow any pattern or any special time of day. Recently it has been happening when I am on netflix. Yes I am on wireless but I have good signal strength. Yes, I ran the connection test and filled out the information requested....Please suggest something new..... there has to be a common thread here because it seems several of us are reporting the same thing and that we are not finding a solution.

Thanks for your help

Hey there Duckie!
What is the model of your Linksys router?

Make sure that your router's firmware is-up-date. Visit manufactures website and see if there is a later version available then your current one.

You might also try connecting your modem right to your Xbox and see if it works then and go from there.

Thanks everybody.... After trying everything here and having a live chat with an ambassador I seem to have solved my problem by moving my wireless router closer to my xbox. Even though I had a strong signal on my computer ect we surmised that somehow there was to much noise for the xbox ... so far so good after a couple of frustrating today.
