Hi Snowy!

Our support page for this suggests using a particular method of changing the password.  Can you please follow the steps here? Error Code 80151012.

Then redownload the profile to your own console.

Hey there Snowy!

I'm sorry to hear this is still giving you issues. Let's see what we can do to get things sorted.

Sometimes, 80151012 has to do with Two-Step Verification. Do you know if you have Two-Step Verification Enabled?
To check, you can:

  • Head over to account.live.com.
  • In the left hand column, click on Security Info.
  • Look under Two-Step Verification and see if you have it enabled.
  • If you do, you can either turn it off or you can make sure that it is set up properly.
  • While you're there, go ahead and make sure that your Security Proofs are valid and up to date. That page also talks about Two-Step Verification if you want more info.
  • Once everything is set up properly, you should be able to clear your system cache then download your profile on your console.

Let us know how that goes and we'll be happy to work with you from there. =)

Hey there snowy,

I'm really sorry to hear that none of the above solutions have helped sort out your account.

You may want to try our Account Recovery Tool, it does sound like your account has been locked.

If that tool still won't help you get your profile downloading, I would recommend contact our Phone or Chat support as they would be best equipped moving forward to help get things resolved.

Please keep us posted on how everything goes.
