Xbox Live CLAIMS they have fixed sign-in problems, but that's not true.

I've rebooted, etc., and I still cannot sign into Xbox Live using my Xbox One.  The Xbox live status says "Our team has fixed the problem."  NO IT HAS NOT.  My connection is fine, etc., I still can;t sign in and I'm still getting the same stupid error message. 

75% of the way to returning the XboxOne (which I just bought today) to Best Buy tomorrow morning.  This is absurd.

OK -- I read the ENTIRE status message and cold rebooted my Xbox One by powering it down and unplugging it for 10 (really 22) seconds.  Now I can get on.  Thanks.

Quite often a hard reboot will also resolve this issue, simply hold your finger on the on/off button for around 8-10 seconds (the light will go off) Then turn it back on.
