Xbox Live and Windows Live Conflicting

Today I bought Super Street Fighter 4 AE off of steam. The only game I play on my 360 is Street Fighter but my girlfriend loves the 360 for Netflix and Hulu. So naturally I figured I would just purchase the game on PC so I could still play when I am away from home. I purchase and register the game then start to play. Minutes later I get a text from her saying she keeps getting disconnected. Is there any way to stop this conflict without purchasing the game all over again? I am very frustrated as the whole point of the purchase is pointless now. I tried to create a new account but the CD Key is now binded to my original account. I don't know what to do about this issue.

You can not connect to your Xbox Live/Window Live account on two devices at once.  Your only option is for your girlfriend to create a second account if you want to sign into both the Xbox and PC at the same time.

So I would have to purchase another gold account ranging from 40-60$? Thank you for your reply but I can't waste anymore money. Slowly starting to regret selling my PS3.

Were you regretting selling your PS3 when their network was hacked? ;)

I have a account and my wife does too, this is exactly what I do. One of us can be using the xbox and the other the pc.

It is not $40-$60, it is about $40 a year. Surely you can afford that :)

You'll have to create another account.  However, online gaming on Games for Windows Live is free, you don't need to buy another subscription.
