We apologize for the inconvenience this has probably caused you, and we are applying a three month Xbox LIVE Gold credit automatically to your account over the next few business days. In addition, 1600 Microsoft Points will also be deposited into your Xbox LIVE Gold account. You need take no action as these items will be applied automatically.

You have or have not received 3 months? If you did your account still shows silver. Along with the 3 months of Gold they are giving those customers 1600msp, for any time and trouble. Your console may have been wrongfully banned from an error on their end. Then I would suggest you do as the blog says to and call support for your region. www.xbox.com/.../contact
