Xbox license troubles

So I recently bought myself a new hard drive but i'm having some troubles.
When i'm trying to play DLC which i downloaded with my former hard drive i must be connected to xbox live, I cant play the DLC offline.
I did went through the license thing online and transfered my content with the transfer cable, but I still can't play it offline
Any of you know what the problem is?

Hei! Fant du ut noe?

Does anyone know anything about this? ;)

I've bought a new Xbox, and need to know how to transfer content and licenses safely. ;-)

Can I use multiple USB-memorystick transfers? I.e. moving Game after game manually, or do I have to use the 'Transfer Content' option in the memory menus?

First go here to start the Lic Transfer

live.xbox.com/.../Begin

Then  go to

live.xbox.com/.../History

Pick something to download to your console.

Go to you console - go to active downloads.

It May say this content is intended for another console, Click download to this console.

This will complete the lic transfer - You may need to redownload certain things to get the games to work - But that can all be done from the Second Link.

Second poster -  You have to do this online - USB transfers will not do Lic Transfers only the game information.

Thanks alot for your help, Juan. Very informative.

So if I've bought DLC's for i.e Fallout, BF2&3,ME1&2 etc, I can download them again, or should I copy them to a memorystick? I heard somewhere that I had to be online to play XBL-content, but I guess that is if people don't transfer the license then?

Ok, I'll dare doing it tomorrow then, although I don't have an internal hdd for the new Xbox yet. That's two weeks unitil it arrives, but I want to play Battlefield3 on the new console, reg. DLC/codes  that came with the Ltd Edition....

You can move the DLC to a Mem stick - I think its easier to have the console/internet do all the work. But if your going to use them in that 2 week window USB is the way to go.

When the Lic transfer is completed you will be able to play offline with your DLC/XBLA games.
