Xbox headset not letting me talk

Hey everyone,

I'm having an issue with my headset in which when in parties, it won't allow me to talk to people. I can hear everyone, the mute button and speaker is working, but it won't let me talk. My NAT is open and it will work temporarily if I unplug the console and plug it back in, but will eventually not work again. If anyone knows a solution, please let me know.

I know this probably isn't what you want to hear, but there have been headsets that have mic issues.  You can request a free replacement from myservice.xbox.com.  And you don't need to send the old one back.

Thanks for the info. I actually did reach out to customer support and it was what I thought. It seems there is an issue with the cache if you leave the xbox on instant on mode that eventually causes my headset to not work. Turning it to power save fixes it and they should have an update out for it eventually. Thanks again for the info.
