xbox error code 8007274c-00b9684

So i was trying to play the new maps from the Mw3 elite content drop of April after i downloaded them, and I couldn't because the older maps were, "damaged or missing." So i deleted them and tried to re-download them from my downloaded history under the account settings. I got this error: xbox error code 8007274c-00b9684. I tried looking up ways to fix this when my brother found out that he can't connect to the Mw3 server for very long while playing a match.(lost server connection, or timed out)

So when I made sure the only device getting internet connection was the xbox, I still had the same problem. Not only that, i could't watch Netflix shows or movies because of the connection. Any advice?

Hey there tm!
That error code states that your having connectivity issues. I'll take you through some troubleshooting steps to see if we can sort things out here.

Clear Xbox system cache
Reset Xbox network settings back to the default
Note
Before you reset the Xbox 360 console’s network settings, make sure that you write down the current settings in case you have to restore them later.

  • Turn off your Xbox 360 console.
  • Wireless connection only: Unplug the Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter from the USB port (if applicable).
  • Turn on your console.
  • Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and then select System Settings.
  • Select Network Settings.
  • Select Wired Network or the name of your wireless network, if you are prompted to do so.
  • Select Configure Network.
  • On the Additional Settings tab, select Restore to Factory Defaults.

Restart your network equipment

  • Turn off your Xbox 360 console and all network hardware (for example, your modem and router).
  • Wait one minute.
  • Turn on your modem and wait for it to come back online (one more minute).
  • Turn on the next piece of hardware (for example, the router), and wait another minute.

If your still stuck. Check your router firmware that it is up to date (download the firmware from the manufacturers website). If you update the router firmware make sure you reset it afterwards. Access your router and make sure UPnP is enabled. Do not configure Port Forward or DMZ. Reboot your router if you apply any changes to it.

Post back and let us know how it goes.

Hello tmsmloe! If Taidara's excellent steps do not help (which they very likely will!), you may want to also consider trying manual DNS settings on your console. To do so:

  1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and then select System Settings.
  2. Select Network Settings.
  3. Select Wired Network or the name of your wireless network, if you are prompted to do so.
  4. Select Configure Network.
  5. On the Basic Settings tab, select DNS Settings.
  6. Select Manual.
  7. Select Primary DNS Server.
  8. Enter 4.2.2.1, then select Done.
  9. Select Secondary DNS Server.
  10. Enter 4.2.2.2, then select Done.
  11. Select Done again.
  12. Press the B button on your controller, and then select Test Xbox LIVE Connection.

Let us know if any of the above suggestions help out! :)
