Xbox Dashboard not loading

I can't get on xbox anymore cause every single time I try to, the dashboard can't load up - it tries to, but never succeeds.. It is a blank gray-ish screen with two circles rotating around (a smaller circle inside the larger circle). I would love to be able to download XBLA titles and demos, but I can't even get on the dashboard. Someone please help me!

Try get in offline, maybe y takes forever because it's trying to connect to xbox live with a slow internet connection. If that doesn't work try contacting Microsoft.

Please go through the screen freeze solution guide here.

If this sort of issue is occurring with and without the hard drive inside the console then your console will definitely need to be repaired. The console can be repaired by following the directions here.

Disconnect wifi or wired Internet, restart Xbox,, as soon as Xbox banner loads and grey screen pops up, hit the Xbox symbol on controller, and load game. Reconnect Internet for online play, if you have an Xbox without hard drive like mine, let me know how to fix it after that, mine still doesn't load.
