XBOX can't connect to TV

I connected my XBOX to my computer monitor using an HDMI to DVI adapter and the AV adapter to stream the audio seperately.

Now I removed the DVI adapter and AV adapter and try to connect to my TV using just the HDMI cable but I get no sound or picture.

Things I have tried:

1. Resetting the video settings by holding Y + RT while xbox is booting up.

2. Using different HDMI cable.

3. Plugging into different HDMI port on TV.

4. Plugging my computer into HDMI port to see if that works, and it does.

5. Plugging back into computer monitor with DVI adapter and that is the only way I can get video, but I want to play on the TV again.

I use to use  the TV before, why would it no longer work?? Please help I cannot figure this out.

That is not going to matter to me if I cannot use my xbox, which currently I cannot.

1080i does not work at all. And to add to my problems even more 720p no longer works now I can only get video or audio using 480p. I dont think it is my TV because I tried to connect my XBOX to another TV and got nothing, and I can connect my computer to my TV with no problems. Any help is appreciated.

Yes it works fine using standard A/V cable and component.

Actually I managed to get it to display 720p by blindly navigating to the display options menu and changing resolutions. I dont understand why it wont display 1080p though because my TV supports it and in the past I did play at 1080p.

No sound or picture on my TV.

Does it work OK using the standard A/V cable or YPBPR?.
