Does anyone else have problems with your xbox breaking discs?

Mine has been facturing every disc I put in it (after about 2 months of play) in a spiderweb shaped pattern.

I have not experienced this, I think you should set up a repair as soon as possible!

Having this problem currently,broke 2 discs already and all xbox says is sorry we want you to pay for another warranty and thanks for being a part of xbox. Is a joke that the console can break your disk and your out the money and more money to xbox if you still want to keep it

Your console laser will scratch your discs if it has been knocked over, moved or on a slant whilst the game is spining and/or in the machine.

If you believe it isn't doing one of these, you'll have to get your console fixed for it to stopped because, probably, your laser has warped making it scratch discs. Having your conosle fixed will automatically make a new 12 month warranty following it being fixed.

    Out-of-warranty repair: $99 plus tax (submitted online) or $119 plus tax (submitted over the phone)

Remove all accessories and put only the console or sensor in a shipping box.

Post-service warranty

The length of the post-service warranty depends on whether your Xbox product is serviced while it is under warranty or not.

  • In-warranty service: If your Xbox 360 console is serviced within the original warranty period (free repair), you receive either the balance of your original warranty or 90 days, whichever is longer.
  • Out-of-warranty service: If your Xbox 360 console is serviced out of the original warranty period (paid repair), your serviced console will have a 90-day warranty.
