Xbox app on Windows 10 not recognizing wired Xbox One Controller.

I just upgraded to Windows 10 for the purpose of streaming my Xbox games. The Xbox app without issue can stream my Xbox. The only issue I'm having is that even with my controller plugged into the PC, the app still states that the controller is not attached. I've googled what I can, considering the OS is just 3 days young, but there isn't much information regarding it, besides switching the driver configuration, which I have tried. I'm just using a standard micro USB cable, and I've tried plugging it into every USB slot I have, but to no avail. The controller does respond when it is plugged in ( vibrates on initial hookup, with the Xbox button lit up). Any help is, of course, appreciated.  Thanks!

Hey,

Now that you have connected the controller to the PC, can you check Windows Update, since it now should be registered as "other Microsoft products" to see if their is any updates their for it.
