Xbox App in Windows 8 Consumer Preview - New Account Made; Cannot Access Existing One

A few weeks ago, I installed the Windows 8 Consumer Preview on my Windows 7 PC. When I connected, I was given a new account with the gamertag MergedElf96. There's no way for me to sign out and so I can't access my existing account (this one). The same thing happens when I try to use the Halo Waypoint app on my Android phone. I think it's a problem with the email address (I think an old one is being used) but that doesn't explain why a new account would be made. How do I sign out of the app? There's no option anywhere and I'm not going to create a brand new account when I shouldn't have to.

So you're saying I need a second account? I can't use the Starwind Amada one on my PC? What's that about?

You need to make a new account on Windows 8 completely by going to Control Panel > User Accounts & Family Safety > User Accounts

You sadly can't just sign out.
