Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows - two types?

for the last couple of days I've been searching for a wireless X360 controller to get it to work on Windows and I found two versions.

The only difference between them I found was that one connects to PC by a ,,controller port'' (translating from my language), and the second (which costs more) uses USB.

I'm a newbie when it comes to adjusting controller shenanigans, so the only question I have is: what's the difference?

You can purchase the wireless controller directly from Microsoft.
