Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter

Yesterday my Wireless G Adapter started getting a solid reg light. I've tried looking all over the internet for solution, but nothing has seemed to work. The thing is, it's showing all the other network around me, but not mine. Also it's getting a green light when I plug it into the different xbox 360 we have in our house.

It may be the USB port, try it in a front port and see if it gets the red light error. It can be used in any USB port it just won't attach to the console.

Hi, if you're using an older wireless adapter the solid red light indicates the adapter is ready to be configured. In your case you may need to reset the network settings on your console to the factory defaults.

Could you take a look at the link above please, step 3 shows you how to restore the network settings on your console.

-

Step 3: Reset the network settings
    Reset the network settings

Reset the network settings on your Xbox 360 console to the defaults. Here's how:

  1. If you are using an external Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter, unplug the adapter from your console.

  1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and then select System Settings.
  2. Select Network Settings.
  3. Select the name of your wireless network.

  1. Select Configure Network.
  2. On the Additional Settings tab, select Restore to Factory Defaults. When prompted, select Yes, Restore to Factory Defaults.

Note This resets the console's network settings only, and not other settings.

  1. Turn off the console.
  2. Plug the wireless networking adapter back into the USB port (if you're using one).
  3. Turn on the console.

Have you or someone else recently changed any security settings on your router ? Maybe changed the SSID. Did you try powering off your modem/router for two minutes, power it back on and then try connecting to your network.

No. Everything is the same. I've tried everything. Nothing as seemed to work. Like I said it actually works on a different xbox. So I have no clue what's wrong with it.
