Xbox 360 Slim - Red Dot of Death

Hey guys, i sent my Xbox 360 S to get repaired and it just came today. The moment i turned it on, the power supply is blinking between green and orange for like a second, and it goes red dot of death, not able to do anything. Most say it is because of the HDD, problem is though, i did not send it with the HDD, i sent it without... So my question is; is there anything i can do?

Is the hard drive out when you try to turn the console on?

Is there any change with it in or out?

Most of the reports I've seen suggest that its the same error as the 3RRoD.

Many are saying that its caused from overheating issues or the HDD not being able to talk to the console.

Unfortunately I would say that you might have to contact MS Support again and have them send you another console.

I would ask for a supervisor right out the get-go to get the shipment expedited though.

Hey there Colamand! What was the reason you sent the console in for repair? Did you send your power supply along with it, or did you keep it? If you are having issues with your power supply, you can set up a repair order just for that and get a replacement. support.xbox.com/.../repair-process Let me know, thanks!

My Xbox 360 Slim is working just fine - until "Mr freeze" shows up but MS says that it's supposed to work to shut off on it's own but nah it freezes instead after so many tries to restart the Xbox it gives me the red dot but it has nothing to do with the power supply how do I fix this?

I've thought of every thing as in, Restart, full power drainage, Ventilation fix (Move my Xbox to a more well ventilated area), replacing Hard Drive into place. nothing just good ol' Mr. Freeze and gone. #sos
