XBOX 360 powering off during a game

I recently updated my older style XBOX 360, and have been having issues with the console powering down during play. I've already had this console serviced for the RRoD, and it was working perfectly before the update. When it shuts off, the power brick's light is red. I have to disconnect it, then plug it back in for the console to restart, then it happens all over again. There are no RRoD lights on the console itself.  Does anyone else have this problem? It just doesn't seem coincidental that this problem started after I updated to the new dashboard.

Hey there Belhifet, when you first turn your xbox on what color is the light on the power brick? How long does it take before it shuts itself off? You can take a look Here to check your power supply.

It usually starts off green, but I'll check again. It powers off less than 10 minutes into a game. I'll try plugging the brick into the wall and not a surge protector
