Xbox 360 not working via HDMI

Hi guys

Having a bit of trouble here. I've just upgraded from an old 720p Toshiba TV to a Panasonic Viera full HD tv. My Xbox works fine via component but it doesn't show anything via HDMI.

When I turn the console on the 'no input found' screen goes away and it goes dark black, it's like it knows it's there but doesn't show anything. I've been scouring the internet for the past few hours and I've tried every troubleshooting technique I could find with no luck.

Does anyone know what I should do?

Thanks.

Try going to your xbox settings and setting everything to auto-detect and/or default settings. IF that doesn't work you could try putting in the values yourself and seeing if that works.

Myson had that problem today HDMI Handshake death this was how i fixed it

I connected his xbox to a differant TV using the HDMI cable( i already have an xbox connected in HDMI 1 so i used PORT 2 in case it messed my xbox up) go into HDMI settings and enable the Display DIscover and disconnect xbox and try again on the desired TV hopefully your good to go

This worked for my son hope it helps
